CALIBRATING THE EGT:

 

While on the ground near sea level, full throttle the engines and then adjust the EGT needle with the left dial so it sits on the "STAR" * marking. The calibration dial will add + or - 500 degrees from end to end.

 

The main gauge shows the EGT indication needle (please calibrate first) and the fuel flow in gallons per hour.

Shows the ambient temperature in either ºC or ºF which can be toggled in the mini menu. There is also a bar indicator of the EGT output also.

 

The sidebar can be turned off by switching the buttons on in the mini menu.

 

If the blanking plate is used instead of the sidebar, then colour of the plate can now be changed by editing variable [FG_GLOBAL_BLANKING_COLOUR] in SPAD.neXt data monitor.

[S1] Mini Menu Preview toggle

Press [S1] while in menu to exit or toggle preview mode on/off

 

[S6] Toggle Engine - Hold to Toggle Multi Needle Mode.

Short Press to toggle the selected enginer number (Multi engine aircraft only)

Long press to toggle Multi Needle mode. In Multi needle mode there will be on needle for each engine on the gauge.

 

[S5] Cycle through Fuel Flow Ranges

Gauge Range 0 to 16/24/32/40/48/56/64

 

[L Dial] Calibrate EGT and change menu Value -/+:

Use [L Dail] to set the EGT calibration. See About gauge section for more on calibration process.

When Mini Menu is open use [L Dial] to change the value of the selected menu option.

 

[R Dial] Menu Function Previous/Next:

Used to activate the Mini Menu and scroll between the various menu options.

 

 

Version & Info:

Turn left dial clockwise to turn on and counter clockwise to turn off current version number and other useful links.

 

Side Buttons:

Turn left dial clockwise to turn on and counter clockwise to turn off side buttons.

 

Degrees F or C:

This option toggles the temperature output between Farenheight and Celsius.

 

Engine Number:

This option toggles which engine output is displayed (for multi engine aircraft)

 

Glass Reflection:

Turn left dial clockwise to turn on and counter clockwise to turn off optional glass reflections. This is a global setting so all gauges that have this function will turn on and off in sync.

 

Background Colour:

Left dial will change colour styles to the following

     0 = Grey

     1 = Black Dial Face

     2 = Darker Gauge & Dial Face

     3 = Black & No Gauge GFX

     4 = Grey - Original Design

     5 = Black Dial Face - Original Design

     6 = Darker Gauge & Dial Face - Original Design

 

Brightness:

Turn left Dial clockwise to increase gauge brightness and counter clockwise to decrease gauge brightness. This will adjust the brightness of all gauges at the same time.

     Side Buttons (Off = 0, On = 1)

 

     Degrees F or C (F = 0, C = 1)

 

     EGT Peak (-500 to 500)
